“Scott Writes Everything.” A novel title to allow me the freedom to write about whatever I want. So I blog about the following things:

I may discuss my plans to get healthy, my aspirations to learn a new skill, what it’s like to be a father of two young children, or just simply vent about what’s going on in my life. Hence, “Scott Writes Everything.”

I’ve written copy for just about every medium: TV, radio, long-form video, print, direct mail, email, and web. By day, I work for Inbox Group, an email marketing agency where I help to both market the agency itself, write and produce content, and work with clients to build and improve their email marketing programs. By night, I’m a father, a husband, a reader, a sports fanatic, and a budding strength training nut.

    Good morning Scott,

    I am part of a team launching a product for email marketers by the end of the year to empower them to simply and richly tailor each email that gets sent (beyond inserting fields from the database), which can be a very time consuming task today. A fundamental problem marketers face is balancing the time required to design and execute these personalized, targeted messages with an optimal ROI that is evaluated with telling metrics like open, click through, and response rates. This is the central problem we plan to address.

    We are seeking industry insights from 5 or 6 experts like yourself by the end of next week. Would you be available for a 15 minute GoToMeeting call to give us your perspective on the obstacles you personally face and additionally provide feedback on the perceived benefits of our solution?
